KSDK — Seismologists say the Haitian earthquake was caused by a shifting of the region’s tectonic plates. Actor and activist Danny Glover believes the earthquake in Haiti was caused by climate change and global warming.
In an interview with Grit TV, Glover called the response to the earthquake a “defining moment for the administration” and a chance to form a new relationship.
Glover hinted that a lack of sound environmental regulations was a contributing factor. “When we did what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen.. this is the response.. this is what happens.. we have to act now.”
